Beach Picnic
I've had a lot of adventures since moving to the east coast, and I've also had a hard time with keeping up with them on my blog. But my adventures are important to me, so even if they are months old, I still love to post about them. This blog is more than my place for fashion and beauty, it is my life journal. So excuse me when I post about things months after they happen...
A couple months ago, one of my best friends-
, and I got together in the little town where I live. She lives about an hour and a half from me, and it's the closest we've lived to each other in years. So really, an hour and a half is nothing to me. She drove out to join me for a day picnicking at the beach, walking the boardwalk, shopping at my favorite antique stores, and overall relaxation away from the city. We had such a great time together, I prepared pb&j's, salad, fruit, and juice for us to enjoy by the water.
Isn't she just about the cutest pregnant lady you've ever seen? We had such a fun day and have been dying to get together again. The next time I see her will be her baby shower, then I leave for Utah, and by the time I get back, there could be a new little man in her life!
Do you live near your best friend(s)? I know I miss my friends in Utah, but I am so happy that
is here, there's something comforting about having people you know well, nearby.
