Red Carpet Facial Kit // Kinara
As an aesthetician I am usually keeping up my own skin's health- my skin is my greatest advertisement... but for the past... well, too long, I have put that on the back burner. With some emotional events, a big climate change, and general laziness within the last year, my skin was seriously suffering. I specifically remember a few conversations I had with friends and family about the dullness of my skin... it was lackluster. I kept telling myself to get back on track, but like anything, having a good skin care routine can be hard to stay on top of.

and their
. It's a chemical exfoliation that is safe to do at home with a reputation that reaches some of the biggest celebrities. Just be cautious when applying, follow the instructions and don't use if you are pregnant, sunburned, have any lesions or open skin, or are using products like isotretinoin or hydroquinone. But let me tell you, this product is incredible. I have done my share of chemical exfoliations, it comes with the job, you have to know the product. While I liked them all, this one left me the most impressed. I had the signs of a new breakout when I did this peel, including one of those painful pimples dwelling just below the surface. What I can say is I love this kit and am excited to keep it as a regular part of my routine.
I am the worst when it comes to "before and after" photos... so this is the best I could do. The first was taken a few weeks ago and the second was taken a few days ago (after using the
). you can see the glow in the second photo that the first is lacking. The first almost has a dinginess to it while the second looks luminous. My skin feels so much happier!
*NOTE* As with all chemical exfoliations, be sure to follow up with a moisturizer and sunscreen!
