Exploring Arches National Park Pt. 1
My favorite thing about Utah is the diversity of scenery. One minute you can be enveloped by lush mountains and the next you can find yourself surrounded by rust-colored giants. With five national parks and endless state parks and national monuments, Utah is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Back in February I was able to take a trip to Arches National Park with a couple of friends. We woke up early on a Saturday morning to make the four hour journey to moab, which would get us there in time for lunch and a fun-filled day of exploring. Even though it was a holiday weekend, it was early enough in the year that the park was not yet packed with eager visitors. This made it possible for us to take our time as we wandered through the park and took as many pictures as we could.

My favorite days are always those spent with good music, good friends, and breathtaking scenery. So this was definitely one for the books.
