Coastal Grandmother Outfit: The Linen Romper
Our first Summer in New England is almost wrapped up. Before the weather turns cool, we’ll be spending as much time at the beach as possible, enjoying the local frozen lemonade and the hydrangea flowers that are bigger than my head.
While a good portion of our Summer has been spent working and moving, we’ve done our best to soak in life as locals in our beach town. This coastal grandmother outfit in particular has been my go-to for these hot Summer days. Natural fabrics are a must in a humid climate, and this romper from Not Perfect Linen is something I’ll be wearing for many Summers to come! Paired with my favorite Birkenstock clogs and a Hemlock Hat Co straw visor I got for my birthday, the combination was just what I needed to feel comfortable and cute this season.
The coastal grandmother trend was something that came very naturally for my Summer wardrobe, this year. Having just moved to New England, the area that is a major inspiration for the trend, combined with the fact that the older I get the more important comfort in my clothing becomes, made curating the perfect lightweight, easy going, yet timeless wardrobe a breeze!
