Driving the Oregon Coastline // Honeymoon Road Trip Pt. 7

One of the best and also most exhausting days during our honeymoon was our drive down the Oregon coastline. Everything we saw this day was new to both of us, and it was so much fun to experience it, together. From jagged cliffs to tide pools filled with life to sandy dunes; there was so much to take in!

A couple of our favorite stops were Bandon Beach, where seals were sunning themselves and the horizon was filled with rocks jutting out of the ocean, as well as Boardman State Park where the rocky cliffs grew tall and dramatic. It felt like every place we stopped and every bend we drove around held something new and exciting for us to see.

Even though it was mid-July, the weather was still cold and gloomy, as it often is in the Northwest. But the moody skies cleared as our day went on, which allowed us to experience a stunning sunset during our last stop at Boardman State Park, which was the perfect way to end one of our last road trip days.
