Southern California Road Trip Pt. 8 // Pioneertown

On our way out of Joshua Tree we made a slight detour over to Pioneertown. This small "town" was once used as the movie set for many old westerns! Now, it's filled with small artisan shops. Most were closed the day we went, but there was a pottery shop open where both Brandi and I purchased beautiful, Joshua Tree mugs

The heat, as it had been for days, was unbearable; so we didn't last long and were back on the road within the hour. But I'm so glad we made the stop over, so we could at least check it off our bucket lists.

On the way out of Joshua Tree, we also stopped at The End vintage shop. This shop is filled with gorgeous clothing and accessories, and the outside is the perfect, whimsical backdrop. Neither of us bought anything here, but it was a great stop on our journey!
